For fruit trees that are already well-structured and just need regular upkeep. Annual pruning maintains open canopy architecture, manages new growth, removes crossing or damaged branches, and keeps fruiting wood productive. While often performed during dormancy, maintenance pruning can be carried out throughout much of the year, depending on the species and management objectives.

Root-Zone Mulch Installation
A simple, high-impact way to improve the root environment around established trees. We remove turf as needed, expose buried root flares when appropriate, apply compost and biochar, and install deep mulch rings sized to the tree. The result is reduced competition, improved moisture retention, moderated soil temperatures, and long-term support for healthy soil biology.
Root Flare Excavation and Correction
Many landscape trees are planted too deeply or gradually buried beneath years of soil and mulch. We excavate and expose the root flare, correct grade issues, prune girdling roots and other problematic root defects where appropriate, and restore the area with proper mulching. Often one of the most valuable interventions that can be performed for a struggling tree.
Paid Diagnostic Consultation
Sometimes the most valuable service is understanding what is actually going on. A qualified arborist evaluates the tree, discusses findings and priorities with you on site, and provides recommendations tailored to your goals, budget, and property. Paid because the value lies in the assessment itself, not in selling additional services.

For clients who wish to take a long-term, proactive approach to tree health. We assess the site, improve root-zone conditions, monitor progress over time, and adjust recommendations as needed.
